Garry makes a dash panel

Two more steps forward tonight. Firstly, with the help of Charlie on WSF, the fuel gauge is now working correctly, apparently this is the first time in 4 years, so a real sense of achievement. More importantly, Gary finished the new dash and I picked it up tonight. This is the original dash layout, Morse control in a very awkward place and no room for electronics.

The plan is to move the engine controls and VHF, and put a wider dash in with the engine control panel, switches, instruments and chart-plotter all flush mounted. This is what Gary made, absolutely brilliant.

It won't be fitted until the Morse control is moved but this is kind of how it will look, only it will drop in lower.
